Can you sponsor 25-30 people?
When I’m prospecting I look for people who can sponsor 25 or 30 people. Why?
Because the law of averages in network marketing says that if you sponsor 25-30 people you will find at least one leader. This leader is the kind of person that can go out and build a huge business. This is the kind of person that won’t give up.
One of the problems a lot of people make is they pitch their opportunity as a just sponsor 3 people to get rich. The reality is it never works out that way. You never sponsor 3 who sponsor 3 who sponsor 3. Heck even in a binary where you only have to sponsor 2 you end up with one leg that takes off. You have one really strong leg and one weak leg.
If we were more realistic with people we’d end up with better prospects.
I don’t target people who are just hoping to make their money back. I don’t target people that aren’t confident.
Instead I look for people who are confident they can go out and sponsor 25-30 people. You know what’s great? They don’t stop at 25 or 30. They start making good money and they want to keep going. If they can sponsor 25 they can sponsor 100. It’s just doing the same thing over again.

I always say, “IIf you can teach a person to bake a dozen cookies, you can to teach them to bake a hundred dozen cookies”. There is always more power in working the NUMBERS!! For sure! Jim Rohn says, talk to 10-get 2. So if you ware only talking to 3…what are you going to get? People always crack me up when they say “I am not getting any one to sponsor, this is not working!”…without fail…EVERY TIME if I ask them “How many people are you talking to?” they will say “Um, Uh….” “Well..I sorta talked to one last week I think”
If people KEEP TRACK of their NUMBERS DAILY on PAPER and talk to 3-5 people EVERY DAY, that’s 5 NEW presentations of their product, opportunity etc, they will be hitting the kind of numbers you mention and they will be frickin on fire!!

Great post, I totally agree with you. I think the vast majority of people in this industry just look for people to sign up in their business and that’s their only goal. Not to build an empire of empire builders. – Scott Zlateff
