Learn to Prevent Objections in Your MLM
Would you like to prevent objections to your opportunity?
Do you get a lot of objections?
Do people say they don’t have enough money?
Do people say that this is a pyramid?
I had a team member write me yesterday. They are getting a lot of objections. They are having a hard time getting people to join their business.
This lady has had people asking her for more information. They ASK her for a presentation, yet they don’t join. Why is that?
Well one of the things I noticed in speaking with her was her own beliefs. Her attitude was bad. She feels that the economy is hurting people and that most people don’t have $500 to invest in a business.
That is her belief system. Her belief system is that people don’t have enough money to join a business. Isn’t it funny that this is the most common objection she receives when she presents her MLM opportunity to people?
For me I know that a franchise in my industry costs $250,000-$500,000. I know that I’m lucky to only have to invest $500 to start my business. That is my belief system. I believe this is a great deal!
What kind of prospects do I get in return? I get prospects who are used to investing a lot of money to start businesses. I’ve spoken with millionaires who want to do business with me. I get prospects who understand that $500 is an extremely reasonable amount to pay for a business. I get prospects who join on the spot.
The same thing goes with the objection of “Is this is a pyramid“. What is your belief system about MLM? Do you expect people to have this objection? Or do you expect to find people that say this is a great business model?
Earlier this week I wrote about making your beliefs and your goals closer together. Beliefs are important in our business not just for our goals but also in how we interact with others. Isn’t it interesting that when we think something will go wrong it often does. When we think something will go right it often does.
If you want to prevent objections in your mlm you should look at your beliefs. Try to flush the negative beliefs out and replace them with positive. Read positive books. Read books that talk about how MLM is a great business. The business of the 21st Century by Robert Kiyosaki is a good starting point.
Does it make sense that sometimes if you want to overcome objections you need to overcome your OWN objections?

I totally agree with you 100%. Attitude is everything in this business. Nobody wants to do business with somebody with a bad attitude. It has also been my experience that when you are trying to share your opportunity with others, they always respond in kind. However you act, feel or project they will do the same. If you don’t believe in your product or opportunity nobody else will either.
Thanks.
I was speaking to someone else yesterday. They’ve done only 14 demos in 4 months (we teach doing 5 a week) and this person is upset that people are saying no. They aren’t doing the work and when they do the work they are spending too much time dwelling on the no’s. Then the next presentation they do is tainted because of their negative attitude. I’ve been encouraging these reps to get over the negative and replace it with positive influences. Positive books. Positive actions. To replace their negative attitudes.
Very nice, really did not think of it that way! but you have to show them how it will help them either way you have to help others first to show them how it works. every person has there own why of doing things so you have to meet there own personality.
