When you do purchase the manuscript, you have to do me a favor ok?
You have to STOP sit down and read it cover to cover. Take a pencil and make notes on chapters you want to come back to, or what I did was take some of those post it note arrow thingys… the kind of thing your attorney marks up a document where you need to sign the document… Well I put those on the pages where I found really important stuff.
Then take a few days off. Don’t touch the manuscript again. Let the ideas sink in.
Then re-read the manuscript. You’ll find you’ll pick up some new ideas the second time through, and you’ll have a better understanding of the manuscript than you did the first time.
