A few weeks ago I told you I’d tell you a dirty secret of network marketing.
I think maybe this should become a series of secrets.
1. In many companies leaders don’t make as much money from their downline directly as they do from selling them additional products, services, training materials, etc.
Think about it. Even the nice leaders I know… who don’t do it on purpose…
They still recommend a place to get a toll free number. A place to buy leads. A place to get your lead generation web sites from. They may refer you to a printer for business cards, a sign maker for signs, a business networking group to generate your own leads, a web hosting company to get your web site from, a domain name provider to buy domain names from, etc.
This is big business.
And I’m not even talking about Amway/Quixtar where they sell you training tapes and videos and get you to give away “kits” which include a cdrom or video. You have to order dozens (or hundreds) of these kits to give away to find people to sponsor.
What do you think, have you experienced this yourself?

PS. Yep I do it too. I sell my Send Out Cards marketing web sites to anyone who wants them. Originally I gave them away free but it became time consuming and resource intensive. Plus people that weren’t on my team were requesting them. So now I give away free versions that have google adsense ads on them and I also have paid versions which don’t have any ads and offer extra features.
