Belief In Your Self, Belief in Your Product, Belief in Your Opportunity

Self Belief 216x300 Belief In Your Self, Belief in Your Product, Belief in Your OpportunityWhat kind of questions are you asking yourself or your sponsor? What kind of objections are you getting when you show your business?

Yesterday a friend of mine called me to ask me some questions. He wanted to know what kinds of objections or responses I get when I show our MLM business to people.

The thing is the questions and objections I get are going to be different than what he gets.

So then we started to talk about the kind of responses he is getting. A lot of people who were responding to him didn’t have a belief in our product. They didn’t think it made a good business decision to get involved in the business.

That’s when it hit me. This was my friend’s problem too! He is still new to the business.  I knew instinctively that one reason he was getting these responses was his belief in himself and his belief in the product.  The law of attraction states that you attract back what you put out there.  He’s getting this kind of response because of his own self belief.

Belief in your self, your company, and your product:

I also told him if I got the same objection he was getting I’d have a completely different response. My belief in my self, my company, and my product is different than his. I’ve been involved in this particular business for 9 years. I’m one of the top 16 people in the world in our company. I’ve been making a full time living from it for years.

If someone had a negative response to my presentation my posture in responding is going to be completely different than his. Because he doesn’t have strong belief a negative response from a prospect will melt him. A negative response to me will probably get an aggressive response back. I don’t care if they say no, because I know I’m already successful and I’m going to be successful again in the future.  A negative response won’t melt me.

Sometimes it’s a test. They want to know whether or not you really believe in what you’re doing.

I also asked my friend… has he used the product this week?  We’re with Send Out Cards so our product is greeting cards and gifts. I asked my friend how many cards he had sent this week.  His answer was “none”.  I answered that I had already sent a combined total of 14 cards and gifts.

He then said and I quote “I guess I need to be a product of the product“.  I said “I know, and your sponsorship rate is a direct result!

The truth hurt him but he could tell it was true.  Because he doesn’t have strong self talk or belief in your self and belief in our company and product… He was not using the product very much! Because he wasn’t using the product much when someone had an objection about the product he didn’t respond. He couldn’t respond because he hasn’t built up a belief in the product yet.  If he had a lot of success with the product he would have responded differently… But he hasn’t used the product enough to get those testimonials!

Imagine if you’re in a nutrition and health company but your obese. Your prospects can tell you’re not using the product so they won’t want to join you. However if you’re lean and fit then they will want to know how you accomplished it. You’ll  obviously attract more people and sponsor more people as a result!

So what is your belief in your self, your company, and your product?

Look at the questions you are asking yourself and your sponsor. Look at the objections you’re getting. This can be a good clue as to what areas you need to work on to get your belief up.
