Internet Marketing Tip – Getting Quality Links to your web site
Hey guys,
A friend of mine recently introduced me to a great new tool for helping you get quality links to your web site. It is called Link Market.
Basically link market allows you to find other quality web sites to exchange links with. They facilitate the process of finding link partners.
When you signup you put your information for your site into Link Market. Link Market then builds a profile for you and puts it in their directory. Within 24 hours 8 different sites had requested to exchange links with me. I could then go through the list and see if any of the link requests were from quality partners and I could decline any I thought were not suitable for my site.
They allow you to do things like view Alexa Statistics and Google Page Rank of the sites requesting a link exchange from you. That way you can determine if it is even someone you want to link with. If the site has a Google Page Rank of zero and is just starting out, you might not want to exchange links with them. Instead you might want to target people who already have a page rank of 3 or so, to help you get your new web site’s page rank up. Eventually you can start targeting people with higher page ranks like 6+ and not allow anyone who has a lower page rank to link to you.
It is a really helpful tool for helping me find link partners. Its a brilliant idea. I encourage you all to check out Link Market now.
