Does your upline make more money off you or your customers?
This is something that is not spoken about in MLM enough.
Does your upline make more money off selling you tools and training materials than they do off commissions from sales of the product?
In a lot of MLM businesses I find that leaders are making money selling tools to their agents. Heck many companies do this! They sell the tools you need like web sites. Your upline may make a new web site and sell it to you… or they teach you to buy leads and sell them to you… or toll-free numbers, domain names, dvds, cds, training materials, etc.
My belief on this is if it is useful to your team and going to help your team it should be free! Take web sites for example. If our team members have the best tools available and the best web sites, won’t they get more customers and build larger teams and therefore make us more money?
Have you ever had an upline that was charging you for stuff that you thought should be free?
Heck, the purpose we all got into business was to make money! Not spend all our earnings on web sites, banners, cds, dvds, marketing tools, etc!

Well may l say my last company encouraged me to have 75% of stock on hand in my garage, even before l had been trained or even knew how to market the product ect also buy uniform cd and dvd ect yes l will confess l was a sucker at the time very desperate to make money, (what we say here in Aussie) well l guess lam to blame for not doing lots of research about business and marketing after all the internet is supper loaded with great info,but l what does every one else think should network marketing company’s encourage not to buy until you are fully equipped ?
P.S My Main Business now has very low cost tools, lam so happy with the company they give-away there tools nearly well if you think 9-10 DVD`s for $20 is a give-away at least, lam so encouraged a lot of my up line are on the DVD`s too, personally l would be happy to pay more but l guess as Ben said a true net worker or company would give-away tools at low cost or free
