Chitika eMiniMalls tips and tricks
As I mentioned yesterday, Chitika eMiniMalls are a cool new service you can use to make money with your web site.

Here are some tips for you to help you make more money with your eMiniMall ads.
1. Chitika eMiniMall ads can go anywhere on your site. Be sure to check out their ad formats for avaialble sizes.
2. You can place more than one Chitika ad on a page, however we don’t suggest using more than 3.
3. You can place Chitika ads on the same page as a Google Adsense ad.
4. A couple of wordpress plugins allow you to place Chitika ads on your blog.
4A. X74 has released his eMiniMall plugin. Important After downloading the plugin open the eMiniMall.php file in a text editor. You’ll see X74′s referral code in the script. You want to change this and put in your referral code, you can also change the size of your default ads, and your default search terms. You should signup for eMiniMalls before you download the plugin. Here is the code you want to change:
$EMINIMALL_DEFAULTS["client"] = "benfitts";
$EMINIMALL_DEFAULTS["width"] = "300";
$EMINIMALL_DEFAULTS["height"] = "250";
$EMINIMALL_DEFAULTS["products"] = "ipod nano, ipod mini, hdtv, cell phone";
4B. I insert my google adsense ads between my posts and my eminimall ads using the cg-inbetween plugin for wordpress. With this plugin I just make a seperate file called chitika.js. It can be called anything really. That file contains my Chitika javascript code and nothing else. I then upload that file into my wp-content folder. Then I tell the cg-inbetween script where I want the ad to appear. I’d give it a 2 and it would insert the ad after the second post on a page on my blog. If I told it a 1 it would insert it after the first post, so even pages with only one post would display my ad. Cool, right?
