Chitika MiniMalls tips
I thought I was done with Chitika MiniMalls tips. However I found a few more tips for you!
Here is a list of suggested Chitika keywords. They break them down by category. This is a great way to look for some new keywords to use, or perhaps you may want to even develop some content specifically to promote some of these keyword categories?
Chitika also has a blog where they provide tips and news updates. They don’t post very often, but you should definitely add it to your newsreader.
The Chitika FAQ answers the most commonly asked questions about eMiniMalls ads, payouts, etc.
Finally Chitika pays you for referrals! You get paid 10% of their clickthrough revenue for an entire year. I think the one year thing is a bit weird, but I bet they are only doing that so they can make sure they aren’t paying out too much. I’m sure they will re-evaluate things later. All you need to do to qualify for referrals is to join the Chitika program. Once you join Chitika you’ll have access to their banners and will be able to place text links on your web site or blog.

I love Chitika. I see it on your page and also on Darren Rowse’s ProBlogger. From my point of view this would be a great addition to two of my sites http://www.trendgevoelig.nl or http://www.eadhome.nl. I have applied for both sites and both sites have been refused. So, I am lovin it….but I can’t get it.
What could I do to make it work for one of my blogs?

I think Chitika didn’t approve your site because one of theme is not in english and your other site has a non-enlish name. I bet they denied it without even looking at it. Your Trendgevoelig is actually a really nice site and it isn’t fair that they didn’t let you in!

Ok, thanks for the tip. I have already signed up for some new domains and I will split up trendgevoelig on some seperate ones. Hopefully I can get it done at some point this weekend. My Friday is already over since it is midnight

Hi Erno,
I haven’t had much time to work on my HDTV project recently. I have a new subscription based site which I am going to launch next month. Right now that is taking up all my time.
I did however go out and buy about 6 different magazines which are based on home theater and audio systems. I’m going to use some of the articles and reviews in there to help me get ideas for articles for my HDTV blog.
How do you come up with the ideas for posts on your blogs?

I read a lot. Can you imagine reading all kinds of websites, weblogs after a working day and bringing the kids to bed.
I search i.e. in google and Technorati for news on the item. For example “HDTV news november 2005“. There you can find interesting ‘news’ items on the subject for your new weblog. I find it 1. quicker 2. easier, 3. more up-to-date and 4. cheaper than buying magazines
By the way I have been ‘accepted‘ in Chitika.
