Chitika eMiniMalls now allows channels for tracking ad results
You heard it hear first!
Last week in my Advanced Chitika Tips I told you that you can use “channels” in your Chitika eMiniMalls code to track hits. It wasn’t “officially” released at that time but I gave you the code for how to implement channel tracking.
Well today at 7 this morning Chitika made an official announcement on their blog that Channel Tracking was released.
If you’d like to see what channel tracking looks like, login and view your reports. You’ll see Chitika has actually been tracking channels for a little while now! If you don’t have any channels yet, this is what you will see when you begin to implement them:

For more information on how to add channels to your Chitika ads see my previous blog post on Chitika advanced tips.
There were a bunch of tips in that article so you’ll have to scroll down to the bottom to see how to add channels.
BTW if you use x74′s WordPress plugin, it does not support channels. You’ll have to open up the php code and insert the channel code yourself. I created one just for x74 so I can tell if the ads within the posts are doing better than the ads between posts or the ads in my navigation columns.
