Ben, You hit the nail right on the head, Unfortunately many distributors TEACH ‘recruit, recruit, recruit’ so you can get the discounted price for these ‘widgets’.

If you focus on satisfied customers and moving product at retail, the income will increase and typically sales become more viral. With the push being ‘recruit’, instead of many potential happy customers (=bigger checks) you end up with disgruntled distributors and in the end, the business you are trying to build is a constant rebuild.

It’s sad that moving product is the last thing some distributors learn and even more sad, some are never even taught. I believe this syndrome most generally starts at the top. Most people in the Network Marketing Industry just follow the example of what they are taught.
