Dream Building – Which Charities Would You Support?

bigstockphoto Disaster Relief 184433 150x150 Dream Building Which Charities Would You Support?Dear readers,

Let’s talk about dream building today.

You need to have a dream. You need to have a WHY.

One way to figure out your why is to figure out what you would do if you made a lot of money.

If you made superstar singer/actor/supermodel/gangster/rapper money… Which charities would you support?

  • Kiva - helps the poverty stricken start businesses AND repay the loan
  • Heifer - helps the poverty stricken raise food/livestock AND pay it forward to others
  • Make a Wish - helps the terminally ill get one last wish
  • Habitat for Humanity - helps the under privileged get housing
  • Susan G Komen – breast cancer research
  • Red Cross - emergency response – but they do much more
  • Shriners Hospitals – provides free orthopedic and burn care to children under 18
  • Your Church?
How big is your vision? Who do you want to help?
As you probably know I do dream building regularly.  I have a dream board.
On my dream board I wrote out a personal check to charitable organizations that I want to donate too. The checks are very large. icon smile Dream Building Which Charities Would You Support?  I don’t have that much in my account yet… but when I do I am looking forward to being able to make those donations.
How about you?
What drives you?
Who do you want to help?

How Far Apart Are Your Dreams and Your Beliefs?

dream building 150x150 How Far Apart Are Your Dreams and Your Beliefs?Dear Reader,

Let’s talk about dream building.

How far apart are your dreams and your beliefs?

Do you believe your dreams are realistic?

Do you believe you can achieve your dreams?

I was at a personal development seminar this weekend where we were talking about goal setting and dreams.  One of the guys who was sharing his dreams mentioned:

“Some of these are a bit of a stretch for me and some are already true.”

At this point one of my mentors suggested that he try to move his dreams and his beliefs closer together.

Now think about that for a moment.

My mentor suggested that if you can move your dreams closer to your beliefs… If you can begin to believe your dreams… If you believe they will come true, and come true soon… That is when achiveing your dreams becomes effortless.  That is when it becomes easy.

For some of us our goals and dreams are so far out there that we don’t believe them. For example if your goal is to make $100,000 a month and you’ve never even earned $10,000 a month then that goal is probably to far out there. You probably don’t really believe you can accomplish it.

Now let’s say your goal is to make $20,000 a month in your business and you’ve already earned $10,000 a month… then this is a realistic goal. You believe you can do it. You KNOW you can do it.

This is a great reminder for when we’re goal setting.

It is also a little dream building trick we can work on.  Physically work on believing those goals can be a reality.  One way to do this is to spend time every day on our goals and dreams. Spend time reading them to ourselves and visualizing them.  Reporgram our subconscious mind to accept those dreams as reality.

What are some of your dreams? Do you practice dream building regularly? Do you believe you can achieve your dreams?

Have You Ever Thought of Owning a Private Island?

Dear readers, private islands magazine 232x300 Have You Ever Thought of Owning a Private Island?

Have you ever thought of owning a private island?

Did you know there is a magazine dedicated to owning/renting private islands?

Last week I mentioned that reading magazines can jump start your MLM business.

My buddy Jack Bastide mentioned this magazine to me the other day.  I didn’t know what to think. Sure enough at my local Barnes & Noble I found Private Islands Magazine!

First of all this magazine is $14.95 at your newsstand. I know some of you probably think that $14.95 is too much to pay for a magazine.  I would say you’re thinking too small!

For those of you that think $14.95 is too much then you’re probably right. For YOU it probably is too much. You probably think to small and you will never own your own private island!

For those of you that think big picture even if you’re not making a lot of money today, just to begin to change your thinking and be aware of these kinds of magazines… To begin to look at these islands and dream about someday renting them out to throw a big party for your team, and yes, one day owning your own private island.  You’re beginning to think big and dream big.

If you think small you’ll build a small MLM business. If you think big and dream big you’ll build a big MLM business.

If you believe you can, you’re right. If you believe you can’t your right.  Dream building begins with  you.

Does that make sense?

Does it make sense that if you think $15 for a magazine is too much, you’re not thinking big enough?

PS. If you visit Jack’s web site, make sure to tell him it looks like  crap so he’ll fix it up icon smile Have You Ever Thought of Owning a Private Island?

Reading Magazines Can Jumpstart Your MLM Business

Dear readers,Success Magazine 215x300 Reading Magazines Can Jumpstart Your MLM Business

What magazines do you read?

Did you know that reading magazines can jumpstart your MLM business?

Let’s start with business oriented magazines and self empowering magazines. There are magazines like Success Magazine or even the Network Marketing Magazine

I don’t mean the MLM junk magazines or MLM ad magazines that are full of ads. Certainly those don’t have any real content to them.

But let’s go a step further.

What is your dream?

Is your dream to be a pilot someday and own your own plane? Then why aren’t you reading magazines like Flying Magazine or Plane & Pilot. Those will inspire you. You’ll learn more about your goals of becoming a pilot and you’ll learn all about the different types of small aircraft. It will be FUN to dream.  Your dream becomes more of a REALITY.

What about cars? Do you like classic cars? There’s a bunch of magazines out there for you. icon smile Reading Magazines Can Jumpstart Your MLM Business I know I just ordered some myself.  Or maybe you like modern day sports cars… Again there are a bunch of magazines out there for you.

Travel? Yep, there are travel magazines full of amazing destinations, photos, reviews, stories, vacation ideas, etc.  Try getting some of these magazines and cutting out photos to go on your dream board.  Or just take some photos from these amazing tavel destinations to go on your desktop or computer wallpaper.

Home? Maybe you just want to build a nice home.  Maybe you want to install a home theater…. There are magazines dedicated to all of these things.  When I was first getting into home theater and HDTV was just coming out I bought magazines like Sound & Vision and Home Theater magazine.  They were full of cool products and technical toys for your home theater plus amazing photos of beautiful homes and condos.

Think about the magazines you read now…

Do you read the gossip magazines? or perhaps you read music magazines? some of you may even read porn magazines…

Are those empowering?  Are those helping you make your dreams a reality?  Do they encourage you to work your business harder or do they fill your mind with junk?

And don’t get me started on the newspaper.  What a load of crap the newspaper is.  JUNK JUNK JUNK.  What a great way to fill your brain with stories of violence, crime, and poverty.  You really don’t even need the financial times or wall street journal any more as you can find that type of research online.

Next time you’re at the store think about the kind of magazine’s your buying.

I even heard that the really rich have weird exclusive magazines.  Not just the Neiman Marcus catalog but we’re talking about magazines on “ranches” and “estates” and things like that.

What you dream about and think about is what you focus on.  Are you dreaming about and focusing on the right things?

What are some of the magazines you’re reading?  Do you have any good suggestions for the list? Do you agree that magazines can help jumpstart your MLM business and motivate you?

Do You Do DreamBuilding for Your Team?

Dear readers,

Last week I mentioned dream building and setting goals.

I recently re-read Think and Grow Rich. Most people who read the book think only of setting their own goals and building their own dreams.  However as you read it over again and as you develop as a person you begin to realize there are stories in the book of people who built dreams for others.

Napoleon Hill built the dreams of his son who had no ears.  He told him that he could accomplish anything. He made him attend regular schools.  He made him believe he could achieve anything he wanted too, and he did!

I decided to apply this same philosophy in my network marketing business.  I decided to envision my team as a team having success. I decided to do dreambuilding on behalf of my team.  Then I began to share this dream with my team.

I’ve begun to share this vision on conference calls, in emails, on facebook, everywhere I can.

Some of my team don’t know how to dream build for themselves.  Some of them don’t have their goals set high enough. Some of them don’t believe they can do it.  But… If I tell them over and over they can do it… If I tell them I have seen this story… If I tell them I have seen in my dream them on stage accepting awards… Then maybe a few more of them will believe it.

Several have already shared with me that they are inspired by this dream.  It remains to be seen what the outcome for my team is but I’m pretty excited by the potential.

Here is the vision I shared with my team.

A massive group from your team has won the Eagles Challenge VIP trip. They are being invited to join you and the VIPs and SOC staff at the Wyndham Resorts Orlando. You have a whole cluster of luxury rooms for your team. Send Out Cards wines & dines you. The food is delicious. The pool is just right. The excitement & passion for this business continues to build. You and your team sets amazing goals, writes them down, and develops a strong plan of action to achieve these goals during the next year.

The VIP event at the 2011 convention is amazing. Send Out Cards takes the VIPs to a Las Vegas show & delicious 5 star dinner. 100 VIPs from our team join you for the event. The fun starts at the hotel before we even leave in our luxury limos. The show is spectacular and everyone has a great time. The dinner is one of the best you’ve ever had. The camaraderie and friendship that is developed will last years. The photos & memories that are brought back will encourage even more of our team to attain VIP next year. We have fun and all of SOC takes notice of our team.

I envision the 2011 convention. I envision you standing up on stage to receive your reward. Your friends run up to the front to take photos & videos of you. Everyone is on their feet applauding. Several people raise up a cheer. The smell of the smoke machines fills your nose while the flashing lights from the visual effects splash your face. Kody has a special reward for you. It tastes salty as tears of joy stream down your face. Kody gives you a giant embrace. The roar of the crowd builds to crescendo. You pause for a moment to drink it all in. As you come to the edge of the stage we, your team, are there to greet you and cheer you on!

As Kody announces the nominees for distributor of the year our team buzzes in anticipation. As each distributor is called more and more of our team are ushered on stage. No one is surprised that you are receiving this recognition. We have seen how hard you work and how fast your business has grown. The nominees are anxious but you are calm. You know your name will be announced as distributor of the year. You set this goal a year ago & worked hard to accomplish it. The crowd erupts and cheers for you as your name is called. Your team, your friends, and fellow leaders on stage rush forward to congratulate you. The music blasts and the lights dance. The hair on your arm stands up electrified. Your mouth even tastes sweet like a savory victory. You have achieved your dreams. You are the 2011 Send Out Cards distributor of the year.

What do you think? Would this vision inspire you?

Are you beginning to see the power of dreambuilding for not only you, but your team?
